Diana Duffy

Diana Duffy is the Assistant Chief for Tucson Police Department. Assistant Chief Diana Duffy joined Tucson Police Department in 2000 after attending the University of Arizona, and has completed several training programs including Senior Management Institute for Police and Southwest Leadership School. She currently oversees the Patrol Services Bureau and previously served as the Division Commander for Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center (SALETC). She has held various positions including Office of Professional Standards Commander, Violent Crimes Commander, and Public Information Sergeant. She also worked as the Community Resource Officer and was part of the Community Response Team that worked on criminal activity and quality of life concerns.

As a single mother of three kids for most of her career, much of Assistant Chief Duffy’s volunteer work consisted of helping with her children’s sporting events and school activities. She also volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club afterschool program. She gained a stepdaughter a few years ago. Now that all four of her children are adults, she enjoys traveling with her husband all over the world.
