David Bradley, a Tucsonan who served 16 years in the Arizona Legislature with stints in both chambers and who was praised by former colleagues as a compassionate advocate and thoughtful public servant, passed away at age 69 while battling cancer on February 19, 2022. Dave has been an Arizona resident for over 50 years. After earning his degrees while serving in the Navy, he returned to Tucson and became a champion for children and underserved communities. Dave served in the state legislature from 2003 to 2011 and served in the state senate from 2012 - 2020. Having worked in child welfare and mental health services for over 30 years as a counselor, he served as the HG board chair for over 6 years using his insight and experience in the field.
