Ramon Valdez

Ramon Valadez is a native Tucsonan, alum of the historic Wakefield Middle School, Pueblo High School and the University of Arizona (B.S. Electrical Engineering, ’89), so his roots in the community are well established. His life and career are filled with service and hard work. From serving in college as a peer advisor at the University to internships with IBM and Supervisor Eckstrom, Ramon was working, learning, and serving. He worked for Senator DeConcini and then started his own political career in the Arizona State Legislature as Representative from 1997 to 2001. He served as Arizona State Senator for District 10 from 2001 to 2003. He further served on the Pima County Board of Supervisors from 2003 to 2021 and maintains his service on the RTA and PAG boards. He also manages several business connections where he consults with and manages processes and organizational structure implementations.
