Michael Anderson

Board Member

Michael Anderson is a retired Episcopal priest and businessman. In Chicago, he served on the board of The Urban Center, an Episcopal charity which established a shelter for homeless women and children on the city’s west side. In 1999, with his partner, Kay Anderson, he founded The Evanston Group, a consulting company working with international pharmaceutical firms. Prior to the sale of the company in 2021, Michael and Kay were proud to have a large team involved in the successful development of one of the Covid-19 vaccines. Michael is active at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Tucson. He serves on their governing board and is a member of their affiliated clergy. In addition, he serves on the steering committee of The Foothills Forum, a Tucson-based educational organization featuring lectures from leaders in business, government, science, technology, and the arts. He loves Higher Ground and is eager to expand their reach and influence.
