Tucson has been home for all my life. I grew up with four siblings and was raised by my devoted, hard-working mother. Despite many challenges I have faced in my life, my family motivated me to push through and overcome these obstacles. As a result, I have been extremely blessed to be a first-generation College Graduate. As an Undergrad at the University of Arizona, I volunteered at Tu Nidito and Higher Ground, where I discovered my passion for working with children. Unpredictable times of this pandemic and a new baby led to some personal time off, but I never lost the desire to continue my focus on youth empowerment.

As a new Interim Site Director at Higher Ground, I look forward to working with Grijalva students and families to encourage success and further my skills and career goals.
